Exeter scholars awarded Fellowships of the British Academy – Congratulations to the Founding Director of the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health, Professor Mark Jackson, on his election as a Fellow of the British Academy.
Exeter scholars secure significant research funding to investigate the early history of Smallpox and Measles – Congratulations to CCEH Director, Prof Rebecca Flemming, awarded a £2.36 million Wellcome Discovery Award, for the project Pustules, Palaeogenetics and Pandemics from Galen to Rhazes: How to do the Early History of Smallpox and Measles.

Centre seminars are Wednesdays 1-2pm, in the Boardroom, with coffee and conversation both before and after in the Library.
